Default When washing car, how do you disable the lock and unlock buttons

sorry for the newbie question, but i was washing my car and as i was going over the door handles with my wash mit and it keeps locking and unlocking the car causing my mirrors to open and fold.

Theres gotta be a way to disable this ...

I have the auto folding mirrors and I can honestly go without them. It is nice to have but I wouldn't pay more money for it.

Look back through the old threads here posted about the 2013 not having auto folding mirrors LOL, you'd have thought Lexus didn't give it a steering wheel...

Reading the old threads about the auto folding mirrors does make me laugh. I have a 2014 and it is nice to have the option, but I agree with domtenn15. I wouldn't really have paid much more for it. My favorite part of the folding mirrors is that I can tell from a glance when walking away if I remembered to lock the doors - can see the mirrors tucked away nicely. I have become way too lazy to actually take a key out of my pocket and push a button. That is way too much effort!

yeah, i leave the keys in the house or the garage while washing the car.

Yep, me too. First time I washed it I left the key in my pocket, and the lock cycling made me jump a foot!

Take the mirrors out of Auto mode, they will stay put.
