Finally surpassed 20 mpg mixed driving. Have '14 GS AWD/Lux with 1400 Miles. Previous been at 17 to 18 mpg. Ps, always calculate myself, still don't trust cars computer for calculation. And yes, fill the tank to the same level. Hoping to add a couple of mpg's when weather warms.

Mine is two weeks old. I'm getting 18 to 19 mpg so far, mostly on city driving. Found the computer on the car to be accurate. Haven't taken it out much on the highway, so can't comment yet on that mileage.

Super dissapointed in this thing so for for the economy portion.
I bought it based on the hwy mpg for my trips from fl to pa regularly. I havent beaten 23.8mpg on the highway with my rwd f sport

What is Eco mode? Have to admit, my foot likes that gas pedal. In fact, I wish the mode would not reset to Normal each time like the old 2000 GS 300. In city, I am either in Normal and Sport modes. Eco on highway and no traffic. Maybe when I get bored with the car the mileage will get even better. Check back in 5 years

Your mpg sounds about right, I haven't peaked over 23 on the highway yet. Will see during the warmer days as said earlier

Me, too...on interstates I generally get between 26-27 mpg. For daily driving using a mix of normal and sport+ modes, I get between 21-23 mpg.

Granted, I'm not mashing the pedal to the floor, but I'm also not driving for economy, either. I'm definitely getting better mileage than I had in my Infiniti G35 coupe (that averaged between 18-19 mpg).

Interestingly, my 1999 Trans Am WS-6 got 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, and that was a 5.7 LS1 V-8. Of course, it was a six speed manual, too.

Just filled up today and got 19 mpg. Never used eco mode. 90% was in normal mode, 10% was in sports +. I pushed it hard when in sports + mode, so I am very pleased with the mileage.

Tried eco mode on cruise control instead of normal and got 26mpg at 73mph. 35/36psi cold pressures Driving around town I still hovered the same 22mpg I got last week in normal mode. I drive like a hypermiler all the time regardless of the mode

What tire pressure are u guys running?

I desperately need 29-30mpg at 70+mph

I have crappy dunlops and it kills the ride so need to keep it at 32 psi until I get Michelins.

We just got our 14 this week. In pure city driving we have gotten 17-18 pretty easily, but it's hard to tell what it will be over time because the car sat in the driveway with the engine running a lot while I play with settings (not part of the 17-18 though).

Today I drove from the suburbs of Houston into town, then to lunch in town and back home again While coming out of the downtown area already on the freeway I re-set the avg MPG. For about 20 miles of pure freeway driving it settle in at 31.5mpg. I got off and had about five miles of mild stop and go with a number of traffic lights. When I got home it was showing 29.5.

Houston - isn't that all downhill driving? Here in Pennsylvania it is all uphill. Or least that is the only reason I can think of.

Houston it dead flat. I always get good mileage due to the type of driving and my driving style. In two years I'm averaging about 24mpg in my BMW 550 (400hp) and have gotten 27.4 on three different long trips I've done in it. My last GS which was my daily driver (2010) I got 26 mpg in almost every tankful, and 30-31 in pure highway driving.

You need to turn around and go back so you can get some downhill driving in
