How does rear passenger room compare to the LS430?

I just saw a black GS on the road yesterday, it looked awesome.
Just bought one a couple weeks ago! Wouldn't recommend the back seat as it is smaller than the ES350 I owned previously. There is not much legroom. Don't get me wrong, and adult can sit in the back seat, it's just that you will need to have the front seats pushed forward a fair amount to give the back seat passenger the room they would expect in a limo.

I agree 100%. The back seat is much smaller than that in an LS430, Nobody's ES350 was a 2013 and had the additional rear legroom, but even compared to my 2010 ES which was shorter than his 2013 the GS is smaller in the rear.

Its a great car to drive and sit in the front seat of, but I wouldn't buy one for a limo fleet.

One major issue I have with my new GS - it's extremely hard to get out of the driver's seat! It does not disappoint!

My 2 year "anniversary" is next month, only 19K miles to date. I have not had any issues worth complaining about, and still feel like just yesterday I drove it for the first time. Whether cruising or smashing on the highway, it is fun to be behind the wheel. Did I mention the look of the car? Especially when lowered, different level completely in my opinion.

Fully agree with this statement. When I am dropping off my friends, they have a hard time getting out because they're so comfortable. When I reach my destination, I take my sweet time getting out. The interior of this car is extremely comfortable!

Biggest issues for me with the F Sport have been; voice command can be hit or miss, reflection of interior in sideview mirror, though not as noticeable in winter as it was in summer, easily dented aluminum interior panels, wind noise was an issue but lessened by installation of double pane windows.

-The center console feels cheap. The platform the mouse sits on is hard plastic that just feels like it will break at any minute.
-The "leather" trim on the dash looks nice, but feels cheap as well. This could be because it's not leather.
-The reflection from the aluminum panel over the side mirror is also terrible.
-No fog lights (F-Sport only)...which as we've seen can be remedied, just not very easily and no one seems to know how to do it correctly, while keeping it all OEM. Yes I know Tommy at MusicBox or whatever in SoCal can do it, but I don't live anywhere near LA.
-Needs more power. Can't really complain about that one, as I knew that going in.

So all in all...these are picky complaints. The car has been a joy to own/drive and I wouldn't change anything about it.

I don't understand these two at all...

Perhaps its because yours is an F Sport, but my console with the beautiful linear espresso wood, chrome trim, piano black accents, leather shifter with contrast stitching and leather shift boot & LED light accents looks VERY expensive to me...in fact its one of the most impressive parts of the interior to me. Platform the RTC sits on feels solid to me.

I think all the materials in the car look and feel great...

It "looks" fantastic. It feels very cheap. And maybe you're right, the F-Sport interior is designed to look more "sporty" and less luxury.

The wood probably creates a better look. I very much enjoyed my 3GS interior that had all the wood trim.

Let me be clear though. The aluminum is solid...no complaints there. The plastic surrounding the aluminum and the generous amounts of fake leather throughout diminish the product. The F-Sport only has real leather on the steering wheel, shift **** and the actual seating area...not the entire seat.

I just don't understand what feels cheap? The door for the cupholder is solid and opens with a refined, well damped movement. The shifter feels very high quality and its movement through the gates is solid and well damped. The padded bolsters on the sides aren't leather, but they're not cheap looking, they're soft and well padded. What plastic surrounding the aluminum?

To me a cheap feeling console is whats found in the 6ES...

Agreed. To me, this is a selling point. Bolsters take an incredible amount of wear from entering/exiting the car, and that seems to be the first place that the leather will break down, show wear, and crack.

This is a picture of mine right after I got it. I just think the console itself looks and feels great...which is why I'm so surprised by this issue

Just did a rear seat & trunk space comparison.

2014 Lincoln MKS (I have 2 of these)
Legroom -- rear head room -- trunk
38.6" -- 38.5" -- 19.2 cu. ft.

2014 GS350
36.3 -- 37.8 -- 14.3

2014 ES350
40.0 -- 37.5 -- 15.2

Since the Town Car is no longer available, it's been trial and error trying to find a suitable replacement.
I do love Lexus reliability. My 06 LS430UL has 335,000 miles now, it doesn't see much use. Customers still request it though, and I can't see getting rid of it anytime soon.
