Yeah i had my interior light on one time with the car off and it turned off automatically after 20 minutes or so. Weird bc my friend has a e350 and we were parked with the car off with the audio on for over 20 min, his worked fine. Not trying to compare the cars just saying.

Isn't this a good thing? I'd rather the car shut down than wear down the battery.

The fact that it shuts down when battery is low, is good! But the fact that the battery drains that quickly is terrible!

That's what happens when you power a 12in screen and 17 speakers lol.

True. I wonder whether it is that the battery is drained or whether it is the charge threshold that the system is set to shutdown or just a preset amount of time.

On our cars I don't think the shutoff has anything do to with the battery level, I've had the radio on for an hour without the engine running... it shutoff 3 times (~ every 20 minutes), but upon cranking had no issues.

It's just a dumb timer... initially at least Haven't see what the car does if you actually run the battery down to nothing.

I'm talking about after parking when the engine is running going directly to ACC without the car doing a full power cycle; the only way I've found is shutting the engine off in neutral. I'd rather not have to go from Running => Off => Acc.

I've love to go from Running => Accessory directly through another method, let me know if that's possible as it's the last remaining annoyance I have with the car.
