Changing tires on my GS F Sport
Will changing my current Bridgetown tires which I think are noisy and ride terribly rough to Michelin 245/40/19 Primacy make a huge difference in my ride and noise. Looking for a more comfortable ride and less noise.
Seems like with the current tires they ride is rough and there is a clunking noise coming from the rear of of the car. I have been told it is from these stock tires.
Looking for a solution ???

You came to the right place!!!
I got the 245/40R19 Michelin Primacy MXM4 94V rated tires for the last 1 year and wow they are phenomenal for my GS F-Sport. The car is so smooth, quiet and comfortable with great traction in rain and light snow. The tires have 14k miles on them and i still have 8/10 tread life left and they are still in perfect balance. I run 32 psi in the tires.
You will NOT be disappointed. I was the first one to use this size MXM4 on the F-Sport and have recommended others to do the same. 2 people have been happy after doing this for their F-sport. Make sure you look at www.tirerack.com and put size 245/40R19 and get the 94V rated tire. Do not get the higher speed 98W rated one as its not needed. It will be firmer and stiff.

I bought a certified F Sport and the dealer installed a new set of the Dunlops
they seem ok but I will go to Michelins when they are gone
exact sizes for the F Sport limit you currently to the Bridgestone, Dunlop, and Michelin PS2
I have the PS2 on my C5 Z05 and like them, but want a more cool weather friendly tire on the family sedan
and I'm not sure how the Dunlops will be in a big rain event
so I will go with the new (introduced last year I think) Michelin A/S 3
will have to go to a 245 front instead of 235, but the rear is the correct size
I run Michelins on my pickup and on other sedans and have gotten terrific life and great wet weather performance

Thank you for the responses so far. I'm leaning towards the Michelin 245/40/19 Primacy !!
This seems to be the tire of choice. If I get them does anyone want to buy my Bridgestone's?
They have 1300 miles and I will sell them for $150 each

I got the Dunlops from my dealer as well. They held up pretty well when it rained a few days ago but they're kinda noisy in general (I'm over 3000 miles on my F Sport now).
I see that you guys are replacing the fronts with 245's...what about the rear?
Also, how inflated are your tires? The door states 35/36 I think but when I first got the car they were 41/42 in front and 46 in back which seemed really odd.

the OEM tire is a HP Summer tire and they don't like temps in the 40s or below
when I go to 245 front I'll stay with the 265 rear unless there is a 275 with the same aspect ratio
a 245 on the front 8" rim is the minimum rim size for that tire
on air pressure, I went to my buddy who manages a Discount Tire and he said to use the OEM 35/36 because of the short sidewall
that's a cold setting of course, so after driving a while they can get to 39-40 easily

I'm going to assume that OP has the AWD version. That being said, if you want A/S tires, you're VERY limited to other options in the factory size. You will need to bump it up to 245/40/19 to get a much wider selection of A/S tires.
This ice/snow/winter sucks ***** right now. GDit.

Thank you for the responses. Do you think Michelin 245/40/R19 Pilot Sport All Season 3 with a 94V speed and load rating will give me the smooth, quiet not sounding like a truck ride Im looking for
