Hi,

My iPod recently started to produce pops and clicks, much like an old vinyl disc, during playback. The iPod works fine when docked with an iPod capable speaker inside my home.

The system has been working fine for almost two years until very recently. I've tried various USB cables with the same effect. A USB thumb drive seems to work well as does my BT enabled smart phone. Does anyone have an idea of where I could begin to look to resolve my issue.
