Just curbed my new GS rims.
Anyone have their rims repaired to look like new?
I'm in Chicago area - southwest suburbs to be exact.

Contact your local Lexus dealer. They use rim repair specialist all the time

I did the same thing.. had them fixed locally. Looks good as new.

I curbed one of my F-Sport wheels last year. Was royally pissed, because I never do that. It's a decent size gash on the edge of the wheel, but also the tire protector (not sure what you call that) got slashed. Tire is fine, just have a dangling piece of rubber that I'm scared to cut off.

I asked the dealer about it...their rim guy is only there once a week. Said they would do it without removing the tire...that made me cautious.

Took it to another guy, he looked at it and said he would remove the wheel, tire, sand it down completely and re-paint it. I said no thanks. By the time he did all of that, I could just order a brand new wheel from Sewell for like $350.

It still bothers me, but I may wait until I need new tires to have it repaired at the dealership.

I had very good luck with a mobile wheel repair establishment employed by my local Lexus dealer. They did everything without removing the tire and the work lasted at least as long as I had the car before selling it. They can and do produce "miracles".
