I recently updated to iOS7 and discovered that playing Pandora through enform is different than playing Pandora directly from my iPhone.

Pandora through Enform still has a limited number of track skips, even though my iPhone is jailbroken.

BUT, interestingly when I go straight to iphone and start Pandora outside of enform, the jailbreaks all seem to be acting normally.

Anybody else notice this?

Absolutely. The Pandora app on the car goes through your enform app on your phone...not the Pandora app. You could delete your Pandora app and it would still work through enform.

The limited skips don't make sense to me on the car app. The idea is to inject advertising (I think) and the car doesn't support that, so why limit the skips?

Pandora's license is as a radio not a music service so unlimited skipping would be in violation of their agreement with the music companies. Sure they could change it but that would result in (I imagine) much higher music royalties

Wait, we can install Pandora app in the car screen?? I just use Bluetooth off my phone..

Pandora is part of Lexus ENFORM suite of apps. Pandora through ENFORM will have track skip limits. Playing Pandora via BT does not have skip limits assumining you have the Pandora hack installed.
