Purchasing a "Reacquired Title" GS
anyone know anything in regards to value of a vehicle if it was a lexus buyback. According to lexus it was a buyback because of a "noise" The spiral cable was replaced and vehicle was then inspected and will still be under factory warranty. jus wondering if purchasing a reacquired title vehicle ruins the value and if so by how much? thanks! and yes its a 2013 gs350 w/ 15k miles on it.

Just saw this car on ebay. Get the vin and have your local lexus dealer pull up service history to see how many times it's been in.
The car's a good buy at $39k with all those options, but if you dont need all of them you can probably find a similar f sport with same miles for around $43k.

Lexus doesn't usually let owners go through with Lemon Law. They would rather it not have a label like that and make it hard to sell. So they just make things easier and cleaner and authorize a buy back.

I purchased my 13 GS in May and it was a manufacturer buyback. I haven't had any problems to date. Probably saved 10-15% over comparable cars. I wouldn't pay the same price if another comparable car is available. If u plan on keeping it, it shouldn't be an issue.
