Default PCS/Radar Cruise control

Can PCS/ Radar cruise control be installed at the dealer after delivery or is something that has to be installed at the factory?

Not a dealer-installed option but anything's possible given the right amount of money, right?

I don't think so. There are way to many components. The steering wheel and housing would need to be swapped as that's where the eyes monitor are. I have it on mine and had to special order it.

Nope, the Laser Cruise has all kind of stuff installed throughout the car, including a sensor in the front of the car. I have the Laser Cruise on my Sienna and had it on the Avalon before and on both vehicles it has a big sensor in the front grill that looks like a 2x4 screen. Is it visible on the GS?

Nope it is built into the front emblem. Makes the front so much cleaner without the visible sensor.

Yup. Here's an example of the Prius. Can't find one of the GS right now.

I've got it on my car too and absolutely love it!!! Factory option only. It is a very rare option and very hard to get. Not sure why Lexus doesn't put this on more cars. I wouldn't buy a car without it.

Add me to the list of PCS owners...I had to special order to get it, and it was a "must have". Good as it is, the Volvo version is far better.

The reason very few cars have it is simple - very few people are willing to spend the money.
