Default 2013 AWD F-Sport Pricing

I just received a quote for a 2013 AWD F-Sport with 2,850 miles (manager drove it a bit) for $54,643. This was a discount of $3,926 plus $1,000 rebate. They also quoted 2.9% financing for 60 months. I don't need to do the financing through Lexus as I can get a better rate elsewhere for a longer term.

I don't need to buy a car right now and would be happy waiting until the spring. That being said, I was hoping for a "great" price that would make this a deal to hard to pass up.

I was thinking that with the mileage and change in model year, I would be able to get around $50,000. I am in the Chicago area and there are a bunch of Lexus dealers and 2013 GS 350s available.

Thoughts on pricing?

That's not that great. Most are getting 10% off MSRP on '13 now. I'd pass and get a new one with 0 miles.

Like BarrettF77 said, you can get a better deal on a new one.

Last year when I was car shopping, I saw a non F-Sport with 4,000 miles, blind spot monitors, mark levinson, luxury package for $48,000. That was last November I think you can do better than that.

My salesperson says I am getting an outstanding deal!!!!! Yes...he is trying to make a sale.
2014s will be available in 30-45 days.

Should I keep pushing lower or just wait?

Yea dude push for a lower price - I paid slightly more (under 1K) for a brand new AWD F-Sport back in July 2012.

$54,643 is too much for a used 2013 GS350 FSport. I bought mine brand new back in May for $56,500 and I probably overpaid by a bit. You can do much better on a used GS350 at this time of the year.

Agreed, too much!

My GS was fresh off the boat - F Sport RWD (now wish I'd gone for the AWD...)
Sticker $61293
BSM, HUD, Mark Levinson, HDD 12.3 Nav, Park Assist, Dynamic Handling, Lit Sills

$55643 was my cash price and this was in April, you should be able to do better since the 14's are nearly here.

Of course he is going to tell you you're getting an outstanding deal. He is a car salesman. The more you pay, the more commission he gets. Tell him you're going to wait and get a new one. Watch that price fall another few grand at least.

FYI - they are selling at as a "new" car.
New cars typically only have a few miles.

2,800+ miles more than qualifies it as a used car. And even if it was a new car, that price is way too high for this time of the year.

It's still considered new because it has not been titled. IMO, it's best refered to as a 'demo'.
