The rumors are true. The RWD version has the 8 speed transmission. Power trunk is an option, and Siri Eyes Free functionality is included.

Minor updates. The power trunk and LED head lights might excite some people.

Looks interesting. I'll be happy to upgrade in a year when they release a F version of the GS or a 350 with a new motor. Otherwise, very happy with my current ride.

The 8 speed trans in only in the RWD.
Power trunk option,SIRI,LED headlights.
All no big deal to me.
Power fold in side mirrors is what I want..

Power trunk and led headlights. That's all I wanted. And led fogs would be nice too.

8-speed, no kidding!

I wonder if/how they've changed the options and pricing for MY2014....

Yeah I would want to see this corroborated before I believe this source. These updates wouldn't surprise me, but I'm not sure I believe the source.

Don't know where they got their information or why they would be the first to report it, but looking forward to confirmation. Toyota is releasing prices/specs on a number of 2014's so we should know for sure any time now. I would imagine 8 speed also requires a number of other subtle changes (it's not a drop-in replacement) so it will be interesting to see how the driving feel is modified. Now the tough choice: Good deal on a '13 or wait for the '14.

You won't be seeing many deals on the '14 for some time.

Is an 8 speed worth it to you? The current 6 speed shifts so nice and smooth.
I guess it depends on what oter changes are incoming. Power trunk.. mmmkay, I guess some wil lwant that feature. The trunk lid is not heavy

If it was me, I'd be all over getting a deal on the '13.

Well, we can finally buy the needed parts and convert our trunks to power trunks. Not too excited about an extra 2 gears, 6 is enough for me. The night vision is not that useful, unless you live in a rural area. I think I've only used mine a couple of times.

Honest Abe said it best! Source needed before I will believe Marty's "revelations."

For the mirrors, I just use the 3rd automatic seat adjustment setting. Everything else the same as my usual setting, except the mirrors are pointed down. I just press it when there's a need. Automatic may be better, but I'm not springing extra for it anytime soon
