Hello
When driving while having the navi set to a destination, does the navi voice mute when you make a call or recieve a call? I know it mutes the audio system. It seems that it did in my RX but not in my new GS4.

Unfortunately, you can only turn the nav guidance on or off - no option to auto mute the "other" audio.

I've never been on the phone when nav audio would come through, but had plenty of occasions when nav audio would step on music.

This is one of those really stupid things that Lexus did, where they could have included a menu option to control this behavior. It seems that in a lot of areas, Lexus took a few steps backward. Real shame. Hopefully they'll fix it, but probably not for those of us who already put down our money. :-(

The only work around is to have the navi set so that if you are not on the nav screen she doesn't say anything. Not an elegant solution but one that stops the annoyance.

I turned my NAV audio guidance off the 1st week I bought the car. If I want to hear it, I just press the MAP button and the nice lady tells me where I am and where I will be making my next turn. The rest of the time, she is silent and I can enjoy the music.

Good suggestions.
I called Lexus and they said it does not mute the nav voice when a call is recieved or made. It is kind pf annoying to hear the voice prompts when on a call.
