Hi Gents!

I'm considering doing a matte black treatment to the chrome on the grill, the fog light rings, the deck lid emblem, and the chrome strip on the deck lid. I think with my matte black wheels this may make a really nice balance. I'd love to hear some thoughts on the idea.

Also, does anyone have any pictures of similar modifications, or suggestions / cautions about doing it?

I'm getting my front chrome grill vinyled and the front emblem and rear emblem smoke tinted. I will take pics tomorrow so you can get an idea.

Plasti dip them. If you get tired of them at anytime you can easily take it off. Remember to put more than one coat on, so it'll be a better end product.

I am going to do the same thing in the summer. I think it looks great and I already had the mid front bumper wrapped with 3m matte black auto film. I am doing all chrome and emblems except the exhaust tips.

Start on page 4 then go to page 1 for the update I just posted on what i did to the grille a while ago...

I love ditching the chrome (but that is my opinion).
