Blueprint,
That is a great shot. You make me want an F Sport with those wheels.

I am really thinking of selling the 3GS...it just feels ancient to the 4GS and the 4GS just blows it away in composure, handling and just overall quality.

Side by side talks for themselves. No way 4GS is an upgrade exterior wise. Interior wise is a total different flip.

Its subjective, but I will say I like the look of the 4GS as much as I like the look of the 3GS. The 3GS is a very attractive car still, but it does look dated. The 4GS looks more contemporary, bigger...

I think when the 3GS was introduced, the exterior was relatively more impressive. Today, the competition is more intense. I do not think te exterior on the 4GS is above and beyond the competition. The interior of the 4GS is light years ahead.

Hi
Does anyone know anything about the alloy wheels on the 3rd gen pic. Can't find them anywhere for love or money. Any help would be much appreciated.

Actually looks like someone photoshopped them from an Infiniti, as that looks to be the logo on the center cap...
Doesn't Infiniti use Enkei as their wheel source?

I flat out love the 4GS. in my opinion it is the most fun to drive, and best handling, yes even over the RC. and it looks as good as it drives. the 3 GS feels like old junk after driving the 4. also, the 4GS is the first GS, in a long time, that actually LOOKS like its from japan. I absolutely love it. it kind of feels like a futuristic 2GS if that makes any sense

I have both 3GS and 4GS.
3GS has messy quad headlights, but 3GS has true L-Finesse styling outside and inside.
IMO, 4GS better front quarter styling, while 3GS better rear quarter styling.
IMO, 3GS generally wins inside.
Styling can be very subjective, though 3GS CoD 0.25 vs 4GS CoD 0.27 due to boxier shape.
[2GS's in-line six actually had superior breathing, and superior bottom end torque to both 3GS and 4GS V6's, however old in-line six cannot match new V6's for refinement]!
Early versions of 3GS had a weak, but silky smooth 3.0 V6; 4GS has a more muscular, but louder & harsher 3.5 V6.
However at low revs, 3.5 has less tick tack or less clattery noise than 3.0.
4GS 8 speed more imperceptible shifts than 3GS 6 speed auto.
3GS also has a very supple ride with less pitching thanks to a lower seating position on the same wheelbase, but we pay for the softer coils springs & baggier 17" tires in the handling.
3GS' direct touch screen mounted low, but actually easier to use than my 4GS' joystick, though the 4GS' screen is mounted high.
4GS much more spacious, and 4GS body structure much much tighter than 3GS.
4GS also much more equipment, like HUD, blind spot & rear cross-traffic sensors, 835 Watt ML etc.
3GS 315 Watt ML very lethargic.
I think they are both great cars; just differing compromizes.
4GS generally better, mainly because it's a newer model...
