Default Crease on driver seat

Hi all,

First time posting here. I am so happy to find this forum. there are too many useful info. I have own a Obisidan/Cabernet F-SPORT for 4 months now. The driver seat has developed some creases. Is this under warranty? Should i bring to dealer to fix it? Attached is some pic. Thanks for your input.

I'm not really seeing the issue...sitting on the seats and using the seats is going to create some stretching and gaping of the leather, that looks pretty normal to me.

Unless there is a physical tear or a seam being ripped, I really doubt that this could be considered a defect. Leather is a pliable and stretchable material and will conform to and mold to the shape of the "****" that is sitting on it and there's nothing that can be done about it. (PS. I use the term "****" with the utmost respect.)

All leather seats will eventually stretch due to wear and tear.

Isn't that the back support...as opposed to the actual seat? What creases are you referring to? The big horizontal creases are factory. It's how the seat is made.

Doesn't look bad to me. I have much worse. I am resisting repair as I am worried about squeaks and rattles induced by any effort on the dealer's part.

Dealers almost universally farm out upholstery work to local shops. Find the best one in your area, talk to the shop expert, and then work the dealer over to use that shop for the repair. It will be better than new. Good luck.

P.S. While you're at it, you might consider having extra padding added to any seats that you think need it. Make sure the shop won't cobble the seat cooling system.

Honestly, I would not worry about it. You can try applying a damp cloth to it and use a blow dryer.
(DO NOT HOLD THE DRYER IN ONE PLACE!!) Move it back and forth

Look at your seats as a leather couch. Let them get a few creases in them and some wear. Some people pay to have leather look that way. And besides, it's where you sit. How often do you stare at your couch or your bed where you sit.
