Default Low Dust Brake Pads for F-Sport

Having recently install 20" Vossen CV4 Polished/Silver wheels after 2 days front wheels are coated with black dust. Has anyone successfully replaced their front brake pads with a low dust ones?

I did a quick search and found the following. Sent a email to SP Performance and hopefully will get a reply soon.

I wonder if the TSB that addresses the squeak will have pads that create even more (softer pads) or less (harder) dust?

Ok so i have been wondering the same thing because my brake dust is way out of hand. back in 2006 I had a 745LI with some 21's and the brake dust was just as bad or worse so I go some Akebono pads back then and they were amazing when it came brake dust. I did notice a slight drop in stoping power but for me it was way worth it.

I just found these.

I'm experiencing a lot of brake dust also but I went with CV7s in graphite so you can't tell whether there's dust or not, which is pretty awesome. The issue I have now is every time I wash them then drive, rust colored water sprays all over the wheels from inside the rotors.

I saw that! I would only buy the fronts anyway because the rears don't kick up much dust. I wonder if there is a difference from AWD to RWD?

The F-Sport RWD has larger rotor than the F-Sport AWD and also uses different caliper and brake pad. What is interesting is the pad on the RWD is smaller than the AWD. I recall someone posted the Lexus service spec sheet for the different brakes and pads. I am trying to search for it.

Default May have a solution

Search the web and found a company Bendix (Honeywell) that has a direct replacement. Due to my location and time difference it is very difficult for me to contact them. Sent them a email and hope they can confirm on the application. They do show the difference in F-Sport RWD and non F-Sport and F-Sport AWD.

Default Got response back from Bendix

They currently do not have pads that will work on the the F-Sport RWD models. They will correct the website.

you do not want to put Bendix on ur car, u will regret it. trust me, the best option for low brake dust is Akebono.

It appears options for F-Sport pads are limited right now. Are they available by Akebono yet?

I used Centric Posiquiet in my StopTech calipers for daily driving and I thought they worked great. They are also unavailable yet for F-Sport.

Since we don't have any options, try Wolf's Rim Shield. It keeps the dust off to a certain extent, and when there is dust it is much easier to clean. Detailer's Domain carries it.
