Low Dust Brake Pads for F-Sport

I was going to say.. If I have to replace the rotors too that will be expensive! Maybe when they have tons of miles on them and is due for a replacement.

A few months on rotors?! That's wrong. You don't need to change them until much later down the road. Dealer also quoted me $600 to change front pads and resurface rotors. Bought the pads on Sewell and took it to a local shop to change them for $100. They said resurfacing is not necessary. Brakes worked flawlessly with no squeaks.

i've never really encountered any brake pads that's got low dust. I've tried products that advertises low dust, but it was worse than stock IMO. I actually really like the stock GS pads. The dust seem to wash right off the wheel and onto the concrete whenever i wash my car. It's actually the first type of pads i've ever seen that does this so well. It actually leaves the black dust on my concrete. Also, note, if a pad doesn't have dust, its probably not working well to stop. It could be possible or interesting that a company may have engineered CLEAR dust...lol

I've never seen anything worse than BMWs for brake dust and rapid pad wear. I've had M3s, 3 Series, 5 Series - they're all bad for dust and wear, but they sure can stop!

I'm back on OEM now and amazingly it's been quiet. So if Akebono is available I try that first.

Hybrid cars are a totally different ball game. They have regenerative brakes which are not made of the same material In fact, most hybrid cars do not dust the wheels at all. I never did more than hose off my Prius and CT200, but my wife's GS350 is a bear to clean.

I just left the dealer. On my 14 i just had them replace rotors and pads , but the tech said to replace with aftermarket pads to stop the dust etc. , but i won't be able to go back and get warranty if i switch the oem pads.
My question is now , what is the BEST pads for the GS ? Money isn't the issue.
