Light Cleaning Flaxen Leather
I was wondering what others are using to keep their interiors clean? I normally use Lexol Leather cleaner and Leather Conditioner but during the winter the blue of the blue jeans transfers onto the leather.
I don;t want to keep using the Lexol Leather Cleaner to much because I am sure after time it will change the color of the leather. I have been using just a wet paper towel which seems to work well, but I'd like to hear from others on this.
My LS has black interior and while it does not look anywhere as nice it is so much easier to take care of

i have flaxen interior, 4,500 miles and so far so good, and i wear a lot of dark colored jeans.
i really wouldn't waste time with lexol or any of those, those don't offer protection and don't fight against dye transfer.
about once every 2 months, do a deep clean with leather masters cleaner, THEN apply leather masters protectant.(this is what keeps dye transfer from happening)
and once a week i wipe down the whole interior, including the seats with meguiars quick detailer, this offers UV protection as well in addition to preventing dye transfer.
let me know once you get these products and i'll dig a thread with exact instructions on how to apply. it's very simple and easy, and not messy.

Just got and used the Sonax Leather Foam.
Wow, easily the best product I have used to clean leather. It foams on, doesn't overspray all over the rest of the car. Let it dwell for a few minutes, work it in and buff it off. Leather feels butterly, like new, smells great, no sheen just an OEM matte appearance.
PERFECT product for the Flaxen interior. I did the whole interior in about 5 minutes.

I don;t understand spending $60k on a car with beautiful leather seats and leaving a cover like that on all the time quite frankly. Its meant to be enjoyed. Yes it will wear over time, all things do.
