Default Opinion from all please....

Guys I wanna paint the roof and he front of my SP to black like I see how some of you have. I want the shiny look though. I asked this shop down the road how much for him to do both and he said 650.00 for both. Do u think it will look good an is it worth it? I think with my wheels that I put on the car would jump out more.... Thoughts....

Stand somewhere high enough to take a picture of the whole car from the front top down. Have someone ps for you to get an idea. IMO its a major decision. You should think twice!

I'd do it in vinyl before I painted it, then at least it'd be reversible. You can do a gloss vinyl.

do the bumper (middle) and the chrome and badges and leave the roof alone.

Don't paint, just vinyl.

As you can see I am biased

I say go for it. I am interested to see it in a gloss as I might go that route next

The vinyl is the best, especially resale. I have gotten my old GS done and when it was finished up until the day it was sold everyone always thought it was glass. It looks just as good as paint, just if you have a change of heart you can change your mind. Last it cost a whole lot less than that $650.

Nothing above $300 I only paid $250 but some shops charge more. Make sure they are putting 3M as there is a warranty with it. Black gloss best choice.

The vinyl wrapping reminds me of the vinyl tops on the 70's cars. I would say go gloss or go home.
