live in so ca and i been looking to lease an fsport but prices seam to have sky rocketed. i see post people paying 595-650 a month with zero to minimal down on a three year lease yet now they want 1800-3000k down and the payments are over 750 a month now. Any one lease one recently and get a good deal?

The posters who said $595-650 with zero down weren't being 100% truthful. On an F-Sport Luxury truly with zero down and no tax credits or savings, about $700 is about the best you could have done.

Lease money factors and residuals change, the incentives were different than they were then.

You need to find out what the MSRP, sales price, fees, residual & money factor are. Don't negotiate based on the payments.

If you negotiate based on lease payments, you loose. I and others have said it until we are blue in the face. Auto journalists have written it until their fingers bled. If you want to really negotiate a good lease...I suggest you listen to us. If you want to overpay...I suggest you negotiate based on the lease payment.

Like SW10ES is telling you...negotiate as if you are buying the car and get the lowest sales price, then understand the fees, residual and money factor. If you come back on the forum with what the residual, fees and money factor the dealer is using, folks here can tell you if you are being ripped off.

dec was the best time to lease a gs350 f sport, thats when i got mine, but even then im sure you can get a similar deal, just need to negotiate.

call the number the guy posted above, im sure he'll get you a good deal.

I don't know that you can get a similar deal. If the residual is lower, and the money factor is higher, it may not be possible.

Go to leaseguide.com and educate yourself about leasing before talking to dealers. Great suggestions here already about negotiating price first and not talk about monthly payments. With a paper, pen, and calculator you should be able to calculate the monthly payment with the appropriate info.

Here is the info on my lease last summer in souther ca (F sport, NAV, ML, PA, BSM)

Msrp $57,822
acquisition fee 700 (for lease only)
dealer discounts 5,200
conquest rebate 1,500
Total selling price $51,822

No extended warranty, no paint protection, no accessories.

Put down 9 refundable MSD (multiple security deposits) or $6,300 to lower my lease interest to about 2%, MF (money factor) was slightly high back then.

15k mi/yr for 3yrs
Zero down (other than refundable MSD) and zero drive off
635/month plus CA sales tax (7.75%)

Total monthly payment $685/month

They're a little behind (only showing rates for January now) but it gives you some idea at least.

Every dealer has a binder with the latest residuals and money factors. They usually don't want you to see it, but I would insist.

Well the best time to buy was December..I am unsure what rates are but surely not as aggressive as the last couple of months. Is the first month payment gone too?

First month payment is gone, but I got something from a dealer here that references "2013 Lexus Payment Waiver, Lexus will Waive up to 4 Payments for Eligible Customers".

4 payments?!? Has anyone been to a dealer and seen anything like this?
