Hopefully that'll work for you. Its just, there is significant force at the end that will push the spoiler down, eventually the glue may give up. Many people lost their roof spoilers because of that

Half of the manufacturers put them on with 3m... My buddies E63 got flooded from hurricane sandy so we tried to take the spoiler off, we ended up cracked it.. and it was just 3m no screws.
I like the spoiler. I may need to purchase one for my GS.
As a side note, I had an SLP spoiler installed on a Buick years ago. It was affixed using a long line of 3M double-sided automotive attachment tape. It held on for many years. With that said, I'd still follow the recommended installation instructions if I were to have the spoiler for the GS installed.
