Yeah it does look pretty cool and protects your bumper

I think plasti dip would def work the same way but would take twice as long to apply/dry and to remove

Can you take a closer pix of the bumper? I'd like to see the lines and texture. Thanks.
Yeah when the sun comes out in a little I will snap super up close one for you!

So to create the edges I waited a couple of hours because you have to do a really heavy coat, but that is more the exception rather than the rule. Each normally applied coat takes about 10 minutes to dry.

Tape and spray baby! I am going to post the two videos that anyone doing this mod needs to watch. If you watch these two videos, the job will be super easy and all make sense.

I taped off my whole grill, because it is already black.

Ok so here are the two videos you need to watch if you are going to do this mod! I did not watch the second one and that is why I needed to redo my bumper.
Check my boy Fonzi out, lol.

What did you use to cover up the holes from the license plate? Look nice and clean. I thought you had two extra sensors!

watched the videos and determined that... "YOU GUYS ARE NUTZ ". actually i envy your bravado... i would never attempt plasti-dipping my car. the first vid scared the **** out of me, when he used the blunt screw driver to peel the plasti-dip and it's not even my car. i take my hat off to all the plasti-dippers.

Thanks for this post! It saved me tons of time. Did not know that to eliminate the crunchy looking lines you had to remove tape while it was still wet. Great tip
