just wanted to post a pic of the SP i had before i switched (worst mistake, ever). don't know if you can tell the diff between stick22's SP and my old one. mine had no HB BTW, only Chemical guys products. Blacklight, Jetseal 109 and Hybrid V7. with the HB you lose some of the pearl luster (which is a good thing). you don't lose it so to speak but the HB gives it more of a gloss.

i don't know if the luster is more muted because of lighting conditions or the actual product. either way, it still is clean.

tried to find some better daytime pics for comparison... couldn't find the correct one. yeah stick22, i have a clean car fetish. Lexus wants me to wait a few months before i pull the trigger on a SP 2013 LS. i will wait for the new body style, but it will be SP. no more black cars for me.

That was the exact conversation I had with my wife, minus the LS comment. I have enjoyed taking care of all my black cars but now am looking forward to the ease of care with a white GS.

SP is so much easier to maintain. use the same care as you would a black car, just not as OCD

a couple of things that stick out of my mind...
it was hard as hell to see where to polish off the residue on a white car and i should've definitely used a spray bottle to apply the hard body to waste less.

i know it doesn't "pop" as much as it would on a darker color but it is still mighty slick and shiny
I am just wondering so please excuse my ignorance. Why do people black out their license plate? I mean we drive all day long and everyone can see it. What am I missing?

its so the ppl on the forums cant get access to your address by using your license plate number. if you share info about something you've got or done to your car or home and someone can get your address they can break in or whatever. its best to hide it but i also see your point. its just that the hundreds of thousands that see your plate on a daily basis don't really have any idea what personal things you have invested in your car or home. Plus if you have enemies on the forum they can get access to your info by just using your license plate number. There are websites that you can pay a small fee and enter the plate number and it can pull up info you wish ppl didnt know.

wow that went right over my head. I was looking for the wheel sealer , the nano quik detailer, and the nano shampoo. I dont want to use the hard body if I can't properly maintain it

To the OP, your car looks beautiful, and I can definitely see the Hard Body shine. It's similar to what I see after 3 coats on my LP F Sport. Just wait until it rains or you wash it. Amazing how the water beads. Looks like nothing could ever stick to it
