btw,
If you look at the parts carefully, the non ML people can upgrade their speakers.
Example((two different speakers but same location) :
86160 861600WW00 SPEAKER ASSY, FRONT NO.1 AUDIO-17SPEAKER & MAR
86160 8616030E10 SPEAKER ASSY, FRONT NO.1
The only speaker non ML don't have are the 86160T (even then you probably can add it).
So there is a great possibility for someone to upgrade to ML with a few speakers upgrade, amp upgrade, and possible processor before the amp. Still incomplete picture, but close.

Thought of ridding on this thread instead of starting a new one.
Has any one tried sound proofing the 4GS? How is result? Does it reduce road noise and improve audio quality noticeably?
instead of changing speaker or amp, I thought this could be a cheaper option to achieve some gain in sound quality and further enchaining ride comfort (reduce road noise by sound proofing the front wheel arch)
