Default Got the mod bug!

I know I said I was not going to mod this car........ Well, I'm not doing anything too crazy yet, just added a few things here and there.

1. Got her tinted! 35% 4 side windows and 20% back window.

2. Installed JDM Lexus visors

3. Installed OEM DENSO HID ballasts in my foglights. Modified wires so that the ballasts would work with aftermarket 5000k bulbs.

4. Bought OEM Lexus GS all weather mats.

Done with mods for now. I will probably resume after the winter is over! Hopefully by that time the springs or coilovers will be available for AWD models.

P.S - Hand wash only!

Looking good. The more I look at these wheels the more like them. I think they go well with dark colors. Got the same floor mats two days ago (for my son)

PS: Next time remember to use a towel or something over that flaxen sofa.

just checked the site. that place looks interesting... i never knew it existed. maybe because i don't trust anyone else touching my car but me. i wash it myself once a week. however, this place seems like it's safe.

I'm usually being extra careful, but I was in a hurry to install the HID's that I completely forgot to cover the seat

This place rocks! If you ever decide to stop by, make sure you have at least an hour to spare they take their time to make sure the car is properly washed and wiped dry.

Yeah, that color was my second choice. I would have snapped it up except I really wanted a light colored car this time around and my 2003 ES was a similar color, Black Garnet Pearl.

Lol, I've debated the same thing saying I wont mod this one and I have already started to order things. Let us know if you find lowering springs for the AWD as I want to do this as well.

Beware. Small mods are like a gateway drug.

You say : I'll only do a few minor cosmetic mods. The next thing you know, you're forking out thousands for wheels, lowering springs, chassis tuning, brake upgrades, spoilers, grille/bumper mods etc.

(I'm speaking from personal experience...sob)

+1 that happened to me before. Tell you the truth, I'm not too sure if I want to mess with the suspension on this car, since the car drives good as is.

Haha, SniiP3R I bet you are not done yet and much more are coming based on your 3GS... 5000K HID is the best balance for color and output IMO.

I see a few 3GS owners are now the 4GS owners. How do you like it compares to the 3GS?

not done yet, still need to add a few things. Yeah, the 5000K HIDs are the best I think. I've always had 6K's before and kind of hated the light output, but liked the color.

The 4GS is a totally different creature! It feels like you are driving a small compact sports car, eventhough this thing weighs 4 tons. The build quality is much better too.
