...I don't know how to delete this thread, ignore me. Different type of car, not a fair comparison.

Saying a Porsche Cayman is more attractive than the GS is like saying an Aston Martin is better looking than a Ford F150.

Yes the new Cayman is hawt. Gives it more
of a 911 look. I really did not care for the
previous model. I too am looking for a 2 door.
The LF-CC/RC 350 could be it. Hard to beat a Porsche.

Wasn't meant to denigrate the GS, I just picked at random two polar opposite vehicles to make the point.

Btw, several of us Porsche owners have bought the new Lexus GS350, myself included. I own a 911 (2009 Carrera S pdk), and chose the AWD F-sport as my second/winter car.

I love this thread, because while these two cars are totally different, the Cayman (and the 4Runner, and a brief interest in the E350 Coupe) were my other choices had I not got the 4GS.
IMO, the previous gen Cayman was gorgeous and I still wouldn't rule out picking one up in a few years. That being said, the latest Boxster is quite the looker and a huge improvement over the previous gen. I'm hoping that the same can be said about the new Cayman. I've seen the pictures and while it's handsome, I wasn't blown away. I'll need to see one in person before I make the final call.
While this thread was totally off-topic, thanks op for bringing it up, as
