She does need springs, but she's still a beauty and I am still loving those hyper silver wheels. I think the darker wheels de-emphasize the wheel gap for some reason. You still made a great decision. Is the Rim Sheild keeping the brake dust off?

BTW, I bought the wheel and dent package this time around, so at my 5,000 mile service they will be refinishing one of my wheels and taking out a minor dent at no charge.

springs are next on the list. fogs i'm not to sure. it was foggy as hell here the other night, i just turned on the high beams and DAMN!!! there was light. the HBs on our cars work great. it was like a light saber cutting through the fog. i will get the 4700/5K HIDs. i agree on the wheels, not going dark unless i have a lighter colored car. the Rim Shield is holding up well. there is brake dust but very minimal, and no more wheel brushes etc. to clean the wheels just water from the hose washes it right off. i'll apply 2 more coats before the bad weather hits. never heard of wheel and dent pkg.. i have heard of wheel and tire pkg., it's good to have for peace of mind... just in case. with my luck i need all the pkgs they offer.. where was the dent BTW? hope it isn't to bad.

Syd, I'm glad you stay on this forum. Not sure who I would talk to at 11pm if you weren't on here.

i really hope you avoid the complementary car wash, i made the mistake of refused the wash and my car came back f''d up with scratches. it just look like they dropped the drying towel and just used it to dry my car. i am killing myself over it but it just means i have an excuse to detail her for a weekend.

I always tell them no wash.

The dirt of a thousand washes of time past are laden heavily within those brushes.

they know i don't want them to wash my car, they know i'll have them pay for a professional detail afterwards. as he's typing the invoice... his last words are always "no wash". Lexus of RVC knows how i am about my cars.

got the srvc. done. found a nail in my tire, had it patched until i get a new one. she got a clean bill of health. the rattle from the ML was insulated, that's a relief that rattle was driving me nuts.

What are you using on the wheels to help rinse the dust off easily

Wolfs Chemicals Rim Shield. i layered the wheels with 4 coats. just make sure you do it right. make sure your wheels are super clean. i used a MF app. pad. 6/7 drops of RS work it into the wheels with firm pressure(not to firm). wait 10 min. apply another. wait 10 min. (i waited 20)
and either use damp MF towel to wipe down or wash the wheels with soap and water, then dry. i used the soap and water method.
