Default used 2013 gs f sport, good deal?

Looking to buy my first Lexus in the next few weeks and want to get some opinions on whether this is a good deal.

2013 GS 350 F SPORT RWD
14000 miles
Nebula/Cabernet
F Sport, Blind Spot, Nav, Park Assist

$47800 used

Offer from another dealer with same options, NEW $52600. Is 14000miles worth the ~$5000 in savings? Thanks!

the ball is in your court,,, i would buy new. i've never bought a used car. but if you want to save and you feel it's worth it then i say go for it. as far as it being a good deal,,, IMO i believe it is. try and negotiate down to 47000/46500. the car does have 14000 miles on it.

Buy it new man. Spending all that, and at the end of the day you are still the second owner.

To be honest, if you can get it at $52.6K MSRP, that means you can negotiate down to probably $48K new. Add in freight and PDI and let's just say you're paying $50K. I wouldn't pay more than $44K for what you're getting used. I'd try to get it down to $42K. 14,000 miles is a year of medium driving. They've had the car at most 4-6 months. That's a lot of use.

If it's in Texas then that's a good deal. If ur buying out of state u should try to get it lowered.

Thanks for the advice guys. The car is in fact out of state, Florida to be precise, those 14k miles were racked up in under 6 months. Just to clarify MSRP on the one in Dallas is close to high 56k, negotiated down to 52.5 w freight and ad fees, not a stellar deal but good enough...

I'll go back and see if they'll budge any further on the used one.

get the new one if the extra 5K is in your budget,,, i say rack up your own miles instead of buying used that someone already racked up miles on. that's just me. being that the dealer wouldn't budge,,, buy the car somewhere else. 14K miles is roughly a year and a half worth of miles.

I would go somewhere else. I was able to get near invoice. No reason in this economy to pay anything more. good luck.

Purchase it new. You may pay a little bit more, but at least you know you the first owner and you know how the car would be treated. Good luck.

I got a guy that takes care of me at JM lexus. If you want a car pm me and I will set you up with him. If the car is in stock few other things I could get you even a better price maybe then I paid. Two of my friends just got them with my guy in last 2 weeks.
