*** I got it done at a local shop here in SoCal, they used 3M 1080. I took the cover off over the grill (little pop up things, super easy). Then took some pliers to get the little fasteners off, and that was it. Got new fasteners (like $0.12 ea I think) and put the new painted one back on - super simple

** To each there own. I HATE chrome and think it looks cheap, I would rather go more on the performance side rather than chrome. Don't forget the chrome is wrapped and the the emblems are easy to put back - Plus I like to be different, as this to me makes more of a statement - but we all have opinions

Different strokes for different folks. I'm glad you can reverse it before you try to re-sell it.

Interesting custom project there.

P.S.
Isn't it that front vehicle plates are needed in California?

** My last car was white (not pearl) and I did the same thing (blacked everything out), but I actually made the emblem white so that it would blend with the car instead as the black REALLY stands out. I would try to photoshop a picture of your car, but I think someone posted something they did with plasti-dip already **

** Have to think about it for the future when I need to upgrade to another Lexus **

** Ya, California you have to have plates, but it is only a $30 fix-it ticket, so it is worth not having a plate and they really don't give you too much of a problem **

I have to give your credit for doing what you truly feel comfortable with and if you are happy that all that matters. I have a Nebula grey F-sport and the color is amazing. Enjoy that car!

Love it!

And I like chrome, and I love your car without it.

Excellent job, incredible attention to detail.

If you don't mind can you ask your wrap guy what shade of 3M 1080p he used? Thank you!
