I have to agree.I had ML in my ES and the GS premium sound is damn close if not right there.I was very surprised.
I would think the ML in the '13 GS would be better but I'm happy with the premium system.

Added a 12" Alpine Sub Type-R. Now my system is complete. Also, regarding Pandora, make sure you select high quality audio within the Pandora app. Click on the little gear (settings), and make sure this is on. As by default, it's off.

Our 06 Sienna came with JBLs which I thought sounded pretty good too.

I almost wanted to get the ML too but then I don't commute that much, and the combo I like didn't have ML and I didn't want to wait. I'm glad to hear that there's not that much difference between the two versions except the bass. I don't crank the system all the way so I'm pretty happy with the bass. If the songs are mixed right, I think it still sounds awesome. I was skeptical about the bluetooth media but am very impressed by how the signal gets converted/transmitted/converted almost flawlessly from my iPhone 5. IMO though, there definitely is some quality loss in this process but the SNR is too high for our average ears to detect not to mention other interference as engine, road, wind noises... If one really tests this signal vs. direct play from smart phones, I'm sure it will show the difference.

Don't have ML. Wanted it at first, but glad I wasn't tempted by another on the lot that had it. Otherwise I might've sprung the extra $$

I'd be too focused on listening to the sweet engine in a 200k Porsche.

It takes your music experience to a whole new level. It allows you to FEEL the music, not just hear it. The only drawback is the damn gas door rattle.

Really love the bass from the Mark Levinson system, very glad I paid extra for it.

Yeah...have to agree, now that I cranked it up a bit, problem now is the rattles. I can't isolate them...seems to be coming from the pillars on both front doors.

I stick with only 320kbps bitrate as well, op. Anything less just sucks, imo.

can you check out my thread below and maybe chime in? I'm grasping at straws here but it wont hurt to ask
