Wow i am say Lexus is becoming a true Global Brand to the Launch the 2012 GS F-sport in South Africa at the Johannesburg International Motor Show.

as far as model year, from my understanding, US is the only place that goes by number by their whole setup. in other countries, it's all about when the car is being sold. if a car is sold in 2012, it's a 2012 car. i have seen far too many cases in australia, europe, and also japan

Yes there will be 2012 4GS just like there was 2005 3GS everywhere else in the world except in US. Regulations in US are more relaxed and therefor cars launched in Q2 can have MY for following year while in EU you have to wait till Q4 to do so.

F sport wheels = regular optional 19" wheels with a dark finish...? Kinda lame if that is the case. Can't tell from these pictures.
I wonder if the F Sport bumper has fog lights? I was hoping it would have a row across the top or diagonally on each side (kinda like the E Class), but it doesn't look like it.
Not having fogs would bother me, personally.
