How is everyone liking the F-Sport Bridgestone Tires?
I am picking up my F-sport tomorrow morning and I see that the F-Sport has size 235/40/19 rim/wheel size and tire choices are very limited. The Bridgestones EL400 on the F-sport have poor ratings on tirerack. My test drive was very good and I love the way the car is and hope that the tires will live up to expectations but the thread wear worries me and I hope more tire choice that include better Bridgestone tires and Michelins will become available in 1-2 years when the standard tires wear out.

i've driven on them for a month. the grip is not that good for cornering or curves,,,,,,,,well i was doing around 60 at the time,,,,just putting the car through the motions to see how well it performed. i have AWD. the RWD with DRS is much better and much better tires. my car still handled quite well at the speed i was going. but there was the loss of grip not much but noticeable. you are right the EL400 02s' had a f#%@%ked up review on tirerack. went to goodyear and was told the potenza is better for the 2013 GS F Sport. asked why, and was told that's the same tire installed on the aston martin, like i cared. always asked why lexus chose this particular tire for this car. don't know what i'm going to do. i might invest in better tires or wait a while.

My wifes is350 had Bridgestone "Tarenzas" (not sure on the spelling) I changed them to the Potenza RE760s which I like much better and I have used on many previous BMWs... Still a softer tire but they last reasonably well and handle much better... Of course we do not have much snow down here, but I'd rather have very good summer tires and very good winter tires when needed than to have all season tires that are only so-so in both conditions....
Hers are 18's though, so I"m not sure if they are available in 235/19's yet...

Yep and there are zero options for the OEM size in an A/S tire.

Good news,
You do not have to stick with the 235/40/19 tire size as the width of the 19 inch rim on the AWD front and rear can fit the 245/40/19 tire sizes with only making the speedo 1.1 percent slower!!! I will replace the Bridgestones when they wear out to this tire size and get Michelins Pilot Sport A/S, Primacy MXM4, or Bridgestones RE970 A/s tires.
Look at the specs on this link! I have put slightly different tire sizes than OEM on my older GS with no issues.

Look at tire rack list of tires! Its full of choices including Michelins Pilot Sport A/s, Super sports, Primacys!

My 2nd GS came with the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires. They are junk, the ride is harsh and noisy so I asked my dealership to swap them out with the SP Sport Maxx 050 this Friday.
