Does it make any difference in overtaking and 0-60 times?

Overtaking? Maybe...by a split second. 0-60? That is TBD.

awesome to see that aftermarket support is here so quickly already, and i love how they have a flush mount design, great!!!!!

i don't see how it will affect 0-60. that's WOT already. this is to improve the throttle design, meaning with slighter tap on the gas pedal the throttle opens up more. just like my m3, the power button changes the throttle sensitivity but it doesn't change 0-60

Wonder how if it is any different from the Sport+ setting on the F-sport which I gather already makes the throttle response more agrressive....

It will just basically amplify the sensitivity for all the settings , Eco, Norm, Sport and Sport + (if the car has AVS).

It's the same setup for IS F. Just makes the trans shift points more agressive even in SPORT mode.

Its a blank. But if you had it, BSM (Blind Spot Monitoring)

If you had cold weather package (Headlamp Washers & Heated Steering):

Yeah, if you have cold weather AWD, there are no open spots.

I don't get it...I thought this is what Sport and Sport+ were for.

it makes it even more sensitive on top of those modes. for example you can think of S becoming S+, and S++ becomes S++

It is, but the throttle controller allows for a more aggressive shift pattern/throttle sensitivity ONLY.

Sport + dials in stiffer dampening from the shock absorbers (on top of the greater throttle sensitivity, sportier shift pattern and enhanced steering feel), something previous SPORT modes (IS F, CT and LFA) in other Lexus' couldn't do.

Doesn't Sport S give you the throttle and shifting performance only? And Sport S+ gives you that along with suspension and steering adjustments?

It seems to be reinventing the wheel.
