GS configurations available in the SF Bay Area
I just checked out the 4G GS in a dealership. They had one premium model, one luxury model and one F-Sport model (all RWD -- this is California after all). The color meteor blue looked very desirable in person. And of course the classic Starfire Pearl is one of the best colors of all brands out there.
My sales advisor gave a list of the GS inventories. Scanning over them it looks like Lexus is shipping three configurations for NorCal dealers:
1. Premium Model: FW NV PA PM (MSRP 52275)
2. F-Sport Model: BD FK NV PA (MSRP 56200)
3. Luxury Model: BD LL ML NV PA (MSRP 57640)
Legend:
FW: 18" alloy /w summer tire
NV: Navigation + Enform + Entune
PA: Intuitive parking assist
PM: Premium Package
BD: Blind spot monitoring
FK: F-sport package
LL: Luxury package
ML: Mark Levinson stereo
Notably absent options are:
1. Dynamic cruise control
2. HUD
3. Night vision assist
4. Lane departure warning
5. Cold weather package (again, it's California with daytime temperature in the 60s in January)
They have a very high residual for the lease program: 66% with 3 yr/30k miles. I am not sure about the money factor.

Interestingly, I didn't see any control for power folding mirrors -- I kind of thought this feature is taken for granted in mid-size luxury sedans.

4GS in Los Angeles
Just test drove the 4GS at my dealer in Beverly Hills last night. They literally got it late afternoon yesterday so many were still covered in wrap. They had 9 4GS in stock of which 2 were F-Sports.
There is no F-Sport with ML across the entire West Coast. He checked inventory nationally and found a couple F-Sport with ML arriving soon to the East Coast. Told me that he'd have to intercept one of those incoming F-Sports if I wanted ML.
The dealer is not discounting nor are they charging a premium --- so MSRP for now.

Yeah Lexus never marks up cars. MSRP is the name of the game. Brand new car...gotta pay to play.

unless they start putting on 500 dollar tint, 5000 dollar chrome wheels, etc... lexus dealerships aren't allowed to mark up on cars, but they can charge whatever they want on "aftermarket". i have seen plenty of that, typical practice. unless lexus corp is able to stop that as well
