There is a definite yellowish tinge to these shots, we've already seen the saddle interior before and it's not orange:

does anyone know if the metal trim along the edges of the wood is real brushed aluminum or is it plastic. It looks a bit thick in places

It's real aluminum as are the stereo ***** though I'm not sure about the stereo itself but that could be real too.

In this class of car anything silver/metallic is/should be the real deal.

I think they should have extended the piece of wood on the rear door to where the speaker is past the door handle. It looks like it ended too abruptly. I have the same problem on my C class

to be honest i don't think the interior is two tone enough. it's like black carpet but everything else saddle. nonetheless, very bright and exciting interior color!

For the first time I like a white car, the saddle is a little to yellow for my taste.

I wouldn't be that sure until someone touches. I had the 2011 GX460 and the whole center console was plastic. Who knows what cost cutting may have hit the GS350 but I hope it will not as I want to buy this car.

its different. but doesnt make me think... "hey i have to have that car"

all i see is those curves especially around the rear doors are gonna be murder for a body man who has to repair any accidents in that area.

The center console will almost always be plastic in everything but $100k cars simply because it's way too expensive to make it all metal or wood especially one the size of the GX's. The center console on this GS is also plastic, just matte black (still less of it than in an A6, 5er or Eclass). The silver accents on the dash and door panels though are metal, as is the case with every other car in the segment.

I hate that Lexus makes the AWD more expensive with uglier wheels and a guaranteed 4x4 stance.

Umm, I agree with the wheels and 4x4 stance, but it has more parts to make all 4 wheels move, so yeah, it's going to cost more.

AWD is harder to produce in the factory as well. I remember when the Toyota plant here switched out the Solara to the Venza, there were a lot of issues training the employees how to install the AWD system. It may be much smoother now, but I guarantee it takes more time to produce the AWD versions. /time=money

i dont think anyone else has as much leather as GS350 in this class.... maybe after some optional packages?
As to the rest of the class... I know for sure that 2010 A6 had Corolla-like silver plastics all around the interior, including center console. It didnt look or feel like even distant cousin to aluminium.
