It's not orange, its saddle. Color is thrown off by a combination of factors, interior lighting, color balance and etc.
Lexus has used saddle colored interiors before...this is nothing new for Lexus. Go back to 2nd gen Sport Design GS 300 and SC 430.

Yeah very true...technically all Lexus interiors other than all black are already two tone. Darker tone upper dash, lighter color lower dash.

Anyone else see the premium carpet mats like on the LS, like that choice, but don't really see the point. The other thing is I'm really not digging the Hybrid with no exhaust outlet, so most likely I'm going to wait for the GS-F cause i like that tailpipe, and I def. want the new features. Can't wait to test drive the car.

Exterior is stunning.
Interior: 3GS>4GS
I don't like how the center console and the dash looki like two separate pieces. I think that it adds masculinity and a strong look to the car when it has a prominent cockpit feel to it. Does anyone get what I'm saying here?
But the 4GS looks outstanding in Starfire Pearl as I expected it would. They've been showing it off in silver, which is my least favorite "normal" color.

I think by today's standards the 3GS interior feels pretty cheap and badly designed.
1) Lots of cheap plastic and no soft touch materials
2) Wood is badly integrated into the design and looks like an afterthought
3) Style of wood makes it look fake
4) Nav screen is too low
5) Switchgear is all Toyota grade
6) No extendable seat cushions resulting in poor thigh support
7) Sliding armrest is bad because it is either too far back or you have to move it disturbing your passenger's arm when you need to flick a switch.
8) I always get comments from passengers on the cassette deck - it's embarrassing.
9) Black plastic surrounding center console switches looks really cheap.
10) cheap looking steering wheel
The new model is a huge leap forward. And probably the first GS that looks like a purpose made luxury car, rather than a Luxury car made by a bunch of lean manufacturing experts from Toyota.
1) Leather dash and soft touch materials
2) Wood looks expensive and is nicely integrated into the design
3) Nav screen where it is supposed to be
4) Lots of metallic and nickel satin finish switches and controls instead of plastic.
5) Nice steering wheel
6) Very little plastic

Not surprised. Audi has cut corners with A6 before by combining real leather on the front of the seat with fake one at the back of the seat.

yeah it's 6 years old, but this still looks good to me.

Center console to radio integration looks so much better IMO. 4GS looks center section design looks like an old domestic car which is what I thought about the new E Class also when I saw it (same design). Don't get me wrong, I love the 4GS and will get one when they update the non-hybrid engine.
