The fog lights will kill the front end on the production model. LF-Ch concept had similar LED fogs as LF-Gh does, but look at the production version. CT200h has some cheap looking fog lights....

Agree. Those wheels are totally devoid of imagination. They could be on a Versa.

Check out that cheap and plasticky looking lower front fascia. And those mirrors are hideous.
Yeah, maybe after all, it can.

...sigh... I will be keeping my 2GS...
I think if Lexus can't pull this off properly, I will be turning in my "Lexus Fan Boy" badge for something else... but what...?

5-Series? E-Class? Infiniti M? XF? There's plenty of alternatives out there...

I think the non-AMG bumper on the CLS is really ugly. Fortunately MB USA had the good sense to not import the car without the AMG bodykit. The AMG bodykit is standard in the US.

I didn't touch it, that is a stock picture. Sorry but without the sport kit most Benz's look pretty awkward. Shame b/c to me they had the best looking lineup around before. The European brands are smart selling their uppity cars here passing off the image whereas in Europe they are not seen as anything really special, especially with all the small engine light optioned cars.

Assume we will see the "real thing" at one of the auto shows later this year. Gotta hope for mechanical as well as styling changes. Competition is improving constantly and the current GS is definitely "stale".

My guess is the 4GS will be smaller and lighter (with the option of a four or small six cylinder). That seems to be the theme of most manufacturers. CAFE standards going up significantly the next few years. Probably see a hybrid during its second year. I'm just waiting for one of the luxury brands to embrace supercharging. Put an Eaton or Paxton on a four cylinder and you'll have 260+ hp while meeting CAFE requirements.
