Man - you took a perfectly good looking car, and then found the ugliest variant of it, and then butchered it some more.
I think the non-AMG bumper on the CLS is really ugly. Fortunately MB USA had the good sense to not import the car without the AMG bodykit. The AMG bodykit is standard in the US.

Assume we will see the "real thing" at one of the auto shows later this year. Gotta hope for mechanical as well as styling changes. Competition is improving constantly and the current GS is definitely "stale".

My guess is the 4GS will be smaller and lighter (with the option of a four or small six cylinder). That seems to be the theme of most manufacturers. CAFE standards going up significantly the next few years. Probably see a hybrid during its second year. I'm just waiting for one of the luxury brands to embrace supercharging. Put an Eaton or Paxton on a four cylinder and you'll have 260+ hp while meeting CAFE requirements.
