Default 2006 GS300: Cold Air Intakes

Does anyone know of an aftermarket cold air intake that fits the 2006 GS300?

Hoping to find a high quality cold air intake, like a K&N, that fits my GS300.

Anyone know if there is a model of cold air intake that happens to fit my GS300?

had one delivered today, quality not so good...

Hoping to find out if anyone has been able to modify, or know of a higher quality intake that could be adapted to the GS300.

I've Googled to no end, with no luck so far.

The pipe is bent on the filter end and isn't round anymore. The area where the MAP installs, one of the two places the screw goes into is drilled out as if it never had been tapped.

I'm going to return this one and i'm trying to find another brand to go with. Maybe I'll return and exchange if it's all that is out there. This could be a one off lemon...

Well you must got a defective one...return it.

All other brands are the same..as for the screws for the map sensor its like that.

You will need to use the right size Phillips head and turn it slowly.

Ok, thanks for the input... I do appreciate it.

Do you have any other mods to your GS300?

The piping will be all the same....yes i can kinda agree with you on thr dc cone filter where the neck is...its kinda poorly made if you super over tighten it, it can bend in. I would suggest buying a different cone filter on ebay.

Dc is the best deal out there....the cone filter is the only down fall if you over tighten it. But like I said thats an easy fix. Just buy a cone filter off eBay.

Which cone brand did you go with? Any tips on install, seems pretty darn easy....

1)
I have a dc cold air intake but i mod it to where it goes down to my bumper its alot of work buts its worth it. Its a true cold air intake sucking cold air not hot air from the engine bay where you will lose power.

2) I have a invidia mid pipe

3) I have a custom axle back exhaust

4) ppe header.

5) ecu tuned

I went with spectre due to the fact this filter has an opening at the front so more air is sucked in.

Installation is easy...that's if your handy...if not might take you awhile.
