Default Can you replace a GS300 engine with a GS350 engine?

Is it possible? If so, is it pretty much plug and play or would you have to do anything special?

Thanks

Anything is possible with a lot of $$$. You may need to pull the ECU and anything related to the 2GR-FSE motor for it to work.

Yeah I figured that, but just trying to see how much it would cost and if it would be feasible or not. I can get the ECU with. I'm thinking its the same size engine bay so theoretically it should fit, but I don't know what's all involved. I guess I can take it to a shop and ask. Any places that specialize in Lexus? Not trying to take it to the stealership.

In the long run I dont see it worth spending the time and money on it. You can sell your car, and buy an 07-up for a couple grand on top.

Now unless you wanted to swap in a 2jz gte supra motor, then im all for it and those engines are super easy to wire in.

A dealership would not touch an engine swap. Maybe outside of the shop if you know the techs. I'm not sure what the total cost is, but a used 2GR-FSE is most 4-5k, transmission make about 2-3k. It could be under 15-16k for a whole swap. I maybe overshooting or undershooting on the quote. You can probably find a good condition 350/430 or maybe a 460 at that price.

Now this I want to do. I would definitely do this swap in a heartbeat. They're just down right bulletproof and reliable.
