Headlight Bulb Replacement
I'm new to the forum and I've had my 2007 Lexus GS 350 for a little over a year. My passenger side headlight works at times but not others. I've heard that I need a new bulb but I'm really unsure of what to get. I'm really not willing to pay hundreds of dollars to go to the dealer, I'd rather change it myself. What are the best brand that you have on your vehicles? I would love to get some advice! Thanks y'all!

Hi Greer, welcome to CL
Whatever brand you get, you'll need a D4S bulb. The OEM bulbs are Philips Xeneco 4300K. I've also heard good things about Toshiba Harrison bulbs and Garax bulbs. You can get any of those brands on Amazon. You should replace both bulbs at the same time though – if you don't, the color won't match (older HIDs tend to blue shift as they age).
It's also possible that your passenger side HID ballast is going bad, so try switching the passenger side and driver side bulbs, and seeing if the problem moves to the driver side headlamp
HID replacement bulbs have been discussed on this forum quite a few times before, so use the search function to see past threads discussing the topic. I think there's also some info in the FAQ/DIY section

Lead Lap
Order two of these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Replacement takes 15 min or so. Just be sure to use latex or rubber gloves while installing. You'll save around $300 by doing it yourself, compared to having it done at the dealer. And as Sodim said, do both at the same time.
Side note: I've had these bulbs for about 6 months now, and they've been fantastic. My headlights are always on, day and night.
