I am looking at purchasing a GS 350 with 61k miles. I think the car is beautiful, and am familiar with its reliability reputation. What hidden pitfalls should I be aware of, I will most likely keep this car until nearly 120k miles. This will be my daily driver and will have around 18k miles put on it every year.

I recently got my GS350 too.
Keep up with the tranny fluid changes, and keep and eye on the oil level.

Also be sure to replace the coolant pump and serpentine belt at 80,000 miles

You'll fall in love with this car as I have.. Sure it has a few quirks, no deal breakers but as above (and good points) keep your fluids fresh and the car will last.
The dealer I bought mine from was helpful and months later they still run out to seeme when I stop by. Seems these cars never loose their persona, either parked
or flying down the highway.
