Question about LED bulb as fogs
#2
I am using Piaa led in yellow for my fogs right now. I love the instant on that HID can't do. The light patch is decent for fog lights. Since it's a secondary light source it does its job. It is better than the halogen bulb, if that's what you are replacing.

I bought mine from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/PIAA-17501-9006-Yellow-Performance/dp/B00NFAIG44/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1477613956&sr=8-3&keywords=piaa+led+9006
Search: "Piaa, led, 9006" and you will see more options...like 6000K white vs the yellow capsuled. There are many other 9006 led alternatives that are more than half the cost of the Piaa. I just wanted that signature Piaa "ion yellow" look. I have tried the cheaper ones (70-80 dollar range) and they worked just fine as well, although the light temperature (color) wasn't what I wanted. I consider myself extremely picky when it comes to lighting and found the Piaa's perform how I want.

Thank you for your input. Do you have any pictures of the led fog?

I reviewed a set of 9006 LED's in fog lights.
They produce a lot of glare. My particular set started flickering after 3 months in Canadian winter.
Here's my video review:

Piaa led
JDM allstar led
I have less glare from the PIAA led. Cut off for both bulbs are sharp. LED should only be used for FOG Lights and not your main headlight! JDM all star come in yellow too (removable yellow cover), but compared to the PIAA led they looked greenish.
