GS300 2007 - cheap Denso ignition coil packs on ebay
Hi,
Quick one, what is wrong with those - http://www.ebay.com/itm/UF630-Igniti...FSN8Fb&vxp=mtr - as it is a bit too beautiful to be true. 6x Toyota coils marked as NEW for 99$ ??

Well seeing as MSRP is $105 per coil pack, at $99 for 6 you're effectively getting about an 84% discount on each coil pack, and that's one hell of a big discount. Also, it makes me suspicious that the description says they fit the 2005 GS300 L6 – I've changed the spark plugs in both my '08 GS350 and my dad's '03 GS300 (which should have the same L6 2JZ-GE as the '05), and the coil packs were definitely not interchangeable. Now the ones in the picture do look like the correct coil packs for the 2GR-FSE, but I would be very hesitant to get these simply because I can't see how they could sell new, authentic coil packs at an 84% discount without losing money.

I noticed this GS300 L6 as well but I think that it is just a spelling mistake, as this guy is selling this very same 6x pack with spark plugs on different auction and there you have got GS300 V6 already. Basically I can`t see how they can sell it so cheap as well if it is marked as NEW. I wonder if some one knows more than I about that.

Yeah that makes sense, the '06 GS300 isn't mentioned there and it probably has the same coil packs as '07+
And yeah it is a bit unusual, but on the other hand the seller does have a good rating so who knows?
Do you need to replace all six coil packs?
