Aftermarket CV Axle

Aftermarket CV Axle
So upon further inspection, the clunking noise wasn't from the struts, but instead the CV joint. There was a pinhole in the inner cv joint, and not its toast and has a lot of play in it. I realize OEM is ideal, but has anyone had luck with aftermarket units? The OEM unit alone is nearly $700, there must be other alternatives

Front or rear? Left or right? I've done both fronts the rf from Napa I think it was about 175. And the LF new from ebay for 99 the only damn place I could find one aside from the dealer. I did have to warranty that one a couple months later due to a knocking noise while accelerating, but no problems since then. No problems with the Napa axle so far. They are super easy to do, each one took less then an hour on my garage floor

I called Napa, and they said it would be at least a week until they could get it from the supplier in California, which is fine with me because the car sits in the garage all week, but he said there are a few local places that rebuild cv joints, and he would call to see if they have a core, so we will see
