Default IS250 AWD Front Strut on AWD GS300

So I am fairly positive they can be, but can I use the KYB strut from an AWD ISX50 on my AWD GS300? My car has a very intermittent knocking noise, and while I thought it was the swaybar endlink, when I looked at the strut, wheel well, and the inside of the wheel, it looked as if the fluid had been leaking for quite some time. Any input would be great. Ebay has a OEM AWD GS300 struts for $230 shipped, but if ISX50 KYBs can be used, I'd rather pay the $155 for those.

Are they the same part number? Check And if so they can be interchanged. If not the same, I would not use it.

The part numbers differed, which I assumed meant no go, but there were a few members here who said they had worked, so I wasn't quite sure what to decide. Maybe they do work, but the different part number represents struts with different valving and ride characteristics? Also, the bracket which attaches to the bottom of each (the c bracket) is the same part number for both.

Ended up getting OEM struts off MyLParts for $200 shipped. Figured $45 was worth the hassle of buying struts not mean for my car

You will feel like a brand new car with new struts. Enjoy!
