My review gs430, 460, sc 430, infinity
I am looking for a sporty vehicle for myself, around $20-25k. These are the cars That was on my list.
So I got to drive a few vehicles today, 2008 GS 460, 2006 GS 430, 2006 SC 430, and 2013 Infinity G37 coupe.
The GS 430 i did not like at all, maybe it was because Just before it I drove the GS 460. The GS 430 just felt heavy, and underpowered, not sure why but it just did not feel right.
GS 460 on the other hand drove like a dream, soft, smooth, and just powerful.
The SC 430, drove very smoth and very soft, BUT it was missing the wow factor, like the 460. It felt like it was under torqued. You can definitely feel the power behind it. Also SC apperantly do not come with back up camera, that was a surprise for me.
The infinity g37 drove very nice, very good stiff steering, relatively sooft ride for a sport coupe. A lot of torque and a lot of power behind it. They come with 6cyl 3.7L 330 HP engine. Very different feel from Gs460 though. More responsive and just nimble. The biggest downfall IMO is that Journey 2013 model does not come with Navi and the Bluetooth control is only thru voice commands, so is the adress book. There is no visual for the adress book, you have to use voice commands from the phone if you want to call someone. Which is a pain in the ****. My dad used to have a 2008 RDX and it had the same outdated voice commands and it was horrible!!!
Thats it kids. Just wanted to share my experience. My decision is I really want to buy the GS460, the problem is that i need to buy a car with in next few days. The dealer doesn't want to lower the price, and playing hard to get.
They are asking for $22,000, and wont sell leas than $20,000. I think its too much, but I may have to settle , bc i want it and i have no time to negotiate.

If you are hard set on the price you might consider a '10+ GS350 instead, because even if you wanted a '10+ GS460, there aren't any for sale in the entire country.

You may want to reconsider the '08 GS460 then, as the bluetooth was updated in 2010 to add audio streaming and a few other features. This is one of the handful of reasons that I opted for an '11 (which are rare) rather than an '08 (which are much more common).
