so decided I wanted a new look so powder coated the wheels and I think they look awesome.

the center caps are plastic so had to remove those and will need to plasti dip them to match.

also had the window trim wrapped in vinyl n all trim including headlight, grill, and rear emblems plasti dipped a few years back but they didn't do a great job so I'm having it redone sometime in next few weeks so I'll post more pics when all that is complete but figured why not start the thread now and update it as I go.

dunno if u remember the old thread I posted where I showed off the nice sport pedals and lexus LS wood shift **** and rear window spoiler.

prolly not and I'll go ahead and take photos of all that stuff again when it's sunny but for now lemme know what u think of the wheels.

Quick question, are those taillights smoked or are they stock?

they're smoked.

the mods I've done so far:

plasti dipped all chrome (grill, emblems, headlight trim)

vinyl wrapped window trim

sport pedals

ls460 wood shift ****

smoked tail lights

rear window spoiler

hard wired valentine 1 radar detector

powder coated rims

are those IS wheels?? I don't recall ever seeing those on any GS model.

They look similiar to IS350 wheels, but not quite because of the little tabs. Looks pretty good though

they are the gs450H wheels.
the tab is there because I had to remove the little plastic chrome inserts that go between each set of 2 spokes.

I couldn't powdercoat them because they are plastic so I'm going to plasti dip them.

You know what I think with the chrome piece out back in as is, the contest would look really good

ya I've been going back and forth.
I put them on to see how they look and I kindv liked it but my wife really wants them all black and I do sort of agree that when they are chrome it really overpowers the eye and all you really see is the chrome.
I'm gonna plasti dip one and put in on and see which looks better.

one thing I really love is the lexus logo in the center of the wheel.
love how it retains the oem look.
