hello guys, anyone know what the warranty coverage is for a hybrid battery that has been replaced ? is it 100k miles on top of the time and mileage it was replaced ? or os there no warranty coverage at all ?

Assuming that your warranty is expired, it is the standard 1 years parts warranty... I was lucky that mine failed right before my warranty expired and was replaced. As much as I love my 450h, I don't think I'd get another one based on the cost of replacing those Hybrid batteries.

I have a 2008 GS450h 166k miles. Recently started hesitating due to battery issues (I assume) and I received the dreaded Check Hybrid System message on the dash. My dealer (Rockville, MD) told me that the warranty is 1 year on a new battery and approx $7k. Hardly seems worth spending the extra money versus a rebuilt one with the same warranty for less than half or repairing the current battery pack for a lot less. I have not done enough research to determine which rebuilt option is best or a reasonable bet. Any suggestions
