Default Headliner in 08 GS needs a cleaning

Hey All,

Upon giving my headliner a thorough look over, I found it needs some intensive cleaning TLC. What's a good cleaner you guys would recommend for the headliner fabric? I was thinking of using one of those shampoo cleaners found at Autozone, but afraid they'd blemish the headliner more than actually give it that clean look.

Thanks in advance!

only advice i can give there Steve, is make sure you try it on a spot where no one would notice, LHR corner is usually where id try.

I've used Tuff Stuff to clean the headliner on the driver's side b pillar area and the back edge of the moon roof from the previous owner's smoke stains.

Worked great.

Not sure how it'd do shampooing the entire headliner but it seems to work great for spot cleaning.

folex carpet stain remover you can find it at home depot in the carpet cleaning section. Good stuff!

Grab a clean cotton rag or micro fiber finely spray the rag and ver finely spray the head liner. Ball up the rag and gently pat the headliner. If you spray too much or put too much pressure on headliners you risk breaking the glue.

Genius on the carpet stain remover, and the helpful tip to gently pat the headliner. Didn't even take into account affecting the glue.

Thanks again!
